Baked Apple Chunk with Walnuts

Ingredients:

            2 apples, peeled and cut into bite size chunks

            2 tbsp. coconut oil

            2 tsp.  honey

            ½ cup walnuts

            1 tsp. cinnamon

            ½ tsp ground nutmeg

            Pinch of salt

 

Directions:

            Preheat oven to 375. Toss the apple chunks with wall the ingredients except for the walnuts. Place in a covered casserole dish and bake for about 35 to 45 minutes of until tender. Next, top with walnuts and then bake for 15 more minutes covered. Serve warm.
